Jean-Louis Tuaillon, “Rosa Khutor” Mountain Manager, was elected the new president of the International Ski Patrol Federation (FIPS).
Among professionals the resort employee gained the high acceptance during the 19th Congress of the International Ski Patrol Federation (FIPS), which was held at Big White Resort in British Columbia (Canada).
Jean-Louis Tuaillon — a man about whom one thing became certain: he devoted his life to the mountains and snow. In his youth he served in the alpine troops, in 24 years he became first grade ski-instructor, in a year later — first grade mountain guide. At Chambery University (Grenoble) he defended master thesis “Ski Patroller — a profession, the skiing area — a territory”. At different times, Jean-Louis worked as a mountain-engineer at the top French ski resorts, was elected President of the National Ski-Patrol France (ANPS), Vice-president of the Association of the Directors of Ski Areas (ADSP), President and Member of the scientific & technical board of ANENA (National Association for Snow and Avalanche Studies).
