The first Russian Paralympic skiing gold at Rosa Khutor
Alexandra Frantceva won in the women’s visually impaired slalom.
Excellent performance of Alexandra Frantceva on March 12 open a new chapter in the history of the Russian Paralympic skiing. Alexandra is the first of the Russian alpine skiers to ever stand at the top of the Paralympic podium. Now she has the full set of the Paralympic medals: earlier she won the bronze in the downhill and the silver in the super-G.
Inga Medvedeva competing in the standing slalom claimed the second silver medal, earlier Inga finished second in the downhill.
